Kerryn Ashford-Hatherly is a Clinical Psychologist who works in clinical practice at Ashcliffe Psychology. Kerryn has extensive experience working with alcohol and drug issues, critical incident response, domestic violence and trauma. Her expertise includes counselling, group facilitation, workshops, training and consultancy. In her clinical practice Kerryn is a depth psychologist employing existential theories alongside evidence based practices. Kerryn has presented at conferences and delivered training to organsations in team based personality issues, mental health, fatigue, alcohol and drugs, supervisor support, and various other custom designed packages to meet client organisation needs. She also runs personal development workshops on The Enneagram, Reflective Practice, Dream work, Mindfulness and Emotional processing. Kerryn is a former Police Psychologist with considerable experience in PTSD and Critical Incident Response planning, implementation and debriefing. She is also Supervisor trained and provider of the Matrix Intensive Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program.
Melissa has a strong background working with children and adolescents in education, private and disability sectors, and working with families to promote resilience and connectedness. She is trained to deliver the teen Triple P program, the positive parenting program for parents of adolescents. Melissa also works with adults and couples to manage relationship issues, mental disorders such as anxiety and depression, and general concerns affecting emotional and mental health and wellbeing. Melissa has experience in working from a self-compassion and resilience framework in the areas of trauma and self injury behaviour. Her treatment approaches utilise the evidence-based cognitive behavioural model to work towards the individual’s needs and goals, and includes Solution Focussed Brief Therapy, EMDR and Schema Therapy.
Gwenda Cross is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in: - Couples and Relationship counselling - Trauma - Eating Disorders - Chronic Illness - Grief and Loss - Age related adjustments - Cognitive decline Gwenda has an extensive history as a Clinical Psychologist within Military, EAP and Private Practice. She has an eclectic approach to counselling involving Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Gestalt and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Gwenda only works with adults and has a gentle approach to practice. She has specific training in working with people experiencing eating disorders.
